Card Art That Doesn't Hold Up

Nostalgia aside, old cards definitely had a different look to them art wise. Something about how they were drawn or the shading or general style, but they stand out compared to newer styles. This doesn't necessarily make them bad, just different. However, some card arts with the classic just don't h...

Irish is hard!

Just for the fun of it, I've been trying trying to learn the Irish language. I found a nice website to learn different languages called Duolingo, so I've been taking their lessons. Now, while it's nice and simple to use, it's more a crash course. Even at the basic level, you're basically thrown a se...

Re: Is this some kind of missprint or not?

I'm well familiar with a misaligned print, but in that picture there isn't one, at least not one I can see in a photo, and I did enlarge the picture. I even compared the artwork to ones found on the Wiki, and it all seemed correct. Even if what you're saying is true, then it's just a misprint as all...

Re: Is this some kind of missprint or not?

I don't see the problem with the card, although I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "the artwork's color that's kinda miss the lineart".
The card art looks fine to me in that picture.
What exactly are you seeing that's wrong?

This didn't have the greatest of participation. :-(
Yeah, I know, I was hoping it would.
The actual forum attendance is way down.
In past years, this probably would have gotten so many people playing along.

Re: Is my barrel dragon fake?

I’ve gotta say, I’m stumped on this one. Honestly, if you showed me that card without telling me you think it’s fake, I wouldn’t question it. It does look slightly too orange, but it lacks any real indicators normal fakes have. I want to say it’s real, but I really don’t know. You might think the ef...

Happy April Food's Day

That's the name of the holiday, right? SURE IT IS! For today only, anyone that stops by gets a special rank. The only two rules is that your rank must be food related and it must be unique. No two people can have the same rank. Since my rank for today is "Delicious Chocolate Cake", none of you other...

Re: Is my barrel dragon fake?

Well for one, try linking your image into the image tags. We cannot see it, and I even tried to edit your past for you to fix it, but there's no text inside your image tags for me to fix. The effect text does sound off since I cannot find it written that way on any images either, but that's not enou...

Re: Duel Links General Discussion

New Main Box! Yes, that's right, less than a month after the last Mini Box, and slightly over a month since the last Main Box, there will be a new Main Box. Konami has lost their minds, as there is NO WAY we could keep up with these just by grinding gems. Heck, I've not even collected all the cards ...

Re: No-Eyes Control

I've looked at the Knightmares before, but their Link Arrows are so odd, really designed to Extra Link, something I can't really pull off. Tri-Gate Wizard I don't think I can use efficiently in this deck, especially since it has no effects without co-linking. Topologic Trisbaena is another I feel wo...

Re: I forgot they were a thing!

Yeah, when I saw that support recently, I think last month, that was another one I had forgotten about, although not as badly as Fortune Ladies. Konami recently has really loved giving really old things new support as though people are going to play them again. Fortune Ladies were still worse for me...

I forgot they were a thing!

I just now watched a video on YouTube for a new support card for an older archetype. That archetype was Fortune Ladies. I entirely forgot Fortune Ladies were a thing. So go ahead, let us know whenever you see a discussion/video/topic about or hear a friend or acquaintance mention an archetype you fo...

Re: No-Eyes Control

No worries, it's a rarely if ever used card in current Blue-Eyes. People are much more focused on Alternative, the Chaos Rituals, and the Fusions for the raw beatdown. Sadly, all three of the Fusions still require "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and not just a "Blue-Eyes" monsters. Even the Fusions that we...

Re: No-Eyes Control

It can be Special Summoned by Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. It's the same way I can Summon Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon without Blue-Eye since it requires a Normal Dragon. Stardust Spark Dragon can then immediately protect itself from the destruction effect of Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon at the End Phase. I don'...
