And we make our return to Inastrad

Post by arkain07 » Thu Mar 17, 2016 11:29 am

Any thought from others on this coming back so soon? I mean the return to zendakar came fast but this came only 4 years after the first inastrad. Looks like Zombies will be making a return and excited to see the new triggers and what they will bring. Hoping for some kind of flashback cards.

Last time they went with Flashback and Undying and looks like they are bringing back the flip/flop mechanic or transforming. Also they already spoiled one of the planeswalkers. When i had first come back into magic after a short break Inastrad was a thing.

I know I'm late to this but holy Poop shadows over innistrad is awesome. Also the standard format is doing great and there are so many modern playable cards in the set.

Also Nahiri is my new Bae and I got a foil Arlin as my prerelease promo and pulled a Sorin

I am interested in trying out that seasons passed deck or maybe tokens.

I'd say try the seasons past deck since it has tons of options against token strategies. That and the fact that almost every single deck has outs to tokens before tokens can kill.

Outs to tokens and bant company cant do much plus i am siding 2 duress as well as one in main via all the control and such running wild. I think i will play three Kalitas over just 2 like the last PT did when i saw the deck. Will need some outs vs control but duress seems to be the way to go vs them. Wish we still had thought seise this meta. I have a few cards I am using as tech's but seasons passed being searchable and infinite Laungished duress and more I feel I can take most decks on with this mechanic as well as spell mastery. The deck is just pure Control. I do feel it needs a second win condition though cus if you lose your Kalitas that is about it but having duress constantly will fix that so you don't lose him as it seems to fit right in. So all in all I love the deck.
