Thinking about buying a game, which one?

Here's a place to talk about the Pokémon video games.

If you enjoyed Ruby and Saphire ORAS next month.
IF you enjoyed the first two gens more, X and Y has a nice amount of nostalgia and overall were great games.

If you are a first timer to pokemon, I would honestly say to buy the new one simply to due to these facts:

Nobody else will know much about the game when it's released. (Please can nobody say any spoilers here)
You will have access to every pokemon between both games so you don't miss out (Yes, I am a Hypocrite)
If it's like the original, it's going to fun, easy with the story mode but have a ton of extra content ^^
Also people here would like to battle and trade with you (I am one of the best breeders here ;))

This isn't true.
All of the Pokemon, events excluded, are available in all four 3DS games, but they're not all in ORAS.

Just build a wall of floodgates.
And make the OCG pay for it!
