Favorite yugi saga

Post by Desidious » Thu Jul 26, 2012 1:00 am

So out of each saga with yugi, which was your favorite? I really liked the one with the seal of orichalcos. Had some awesome duels and the dragons made it very interesting to me. Also curious if 5d's or zexal are worth watching cause I stopped after gx which was goofy as can be lol

Somehow I guess I double posted. Apologies to all for that. Battle city was definitely sweet I just got so annoyed with all the marik/winged dragon of ra Poop. When yugi busted out with dark paladin ftw I lost it lol dark paladin is easily one of my favorite cards. I'll give 5d's a shot, been wanting to watch something else so looks like that's my choice.

Duelist Kingdom.
Mainly for the ridiculous stuff Yugi got away with (like the Catapult Turtle incident, destroying the Moon, and using Kuriboh's convenient ability to explode on contact with enemies) and for the Toons.

And Duelist Kingdom was the best.

So I'm seeing a little 5d's hate but a good bit of love for it. I used to try and crunch the numbers bacon in duelist kingdom and get frustrated at how the bonuses worked. I know they were broken and just did whatever big it made it somewhat fun back in the day lol

5D's wasn't bad at all.

My favorite was the Battle City Arc and the Battle City finals. They're too classic and I enjoyed them the second time around just as much as the first. And btw, GX was solid so carry on haterz.

I think it was just that cheesey theme song and all the corny sayings they had. "Get your game on" annoyed me to no end lol I was always skeptical about 5d's because of the whole motorcycle deal. Ur duel affecting the outcome of a motorcycle race? Just seems odd to me.

I'll remember you don't like 5D's Breese. (for future reference)
