Red Eyes Deck

This is the place to tell us about your deck and to give other people feedback on theirs.

Please be nice to new players. Don't expect everyone to be an expert, that is why they are asking for advice, after-all.

Red Eyes Deck

Post by Davro » Tue Aug 17, 2010 6:33 am

My second attempt at building a competitive deck.

Monsters x20
Red Eyes B. Chick x3
Red Eyes B. Dragon x1
Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon x1
Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon x1
Armed Dragon LV3 x2
Armed Dragon LV5 x1
Spirit Ryu x1
Mirage Dragon x2
Lord of D. x2
The Dragon Dwelling in the Cave x1
Armed Dragon LV7 x1
Obsidian Dragon x1
Dragon Piper x1
Hane-Hane x1
Summoned Skull x1

Spell Cards x10
Swords of Revealing Light x1
Flute of Summoning Dragon x2
Monster Recovery x1
Fissure x1
Mystic Plasma Zone x1
Soul Exchange x1
Fairy Meteor Crush x1
Malevolent Nuzzler x2

Trap Cards x10
Draining Shield x1
Metal Morph x2
Magic Jammer x1
Dust Tornado x1
Spellbinding Circle x1
Waboku x2
Trap Hole x1
Remote Revenge x1

Total = 40

The general idea is to get as many dragon type monsters on to the field as possible, as quickly as possible. Red Eyes B. Chick helps me summon the basic Red Eyes B. Dragon, and I have metal morph ready to help upgrade him to Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon. Extra dragons can be summoned from my hand by using Flute of Summoning Dragon. The Armed Dragons can level up quickly and they can be summoned from the deck.
Basic cards like Waboku and Swords of revealing light help protect against my opponents attacks. While the abilities of Lord of D. and Mirage Dragon protect against Spells and Traps.

I'm a noob at building decks, so any help would be appreciated.
This dragon is standing very far away.

i recommend you used some continuous trap cards such as dragon rage and others ... so that you increase the damage you can do and therefore speed up your win...

Don't listen to piks.

Armed Dragons suck, as do all the redeyes cards outside of REDMD for obvious reasons, and wyvern because it revives redmd.
