PaleoFrogs for YCS Columbus

This is the place to tell us about your deck and to give other people feedback on theirs.

Please be nice to new players. Don't expect everyone to be an expert, that is why they are asking for advice, after-all.

PaleoFrogs for YCS Columbus

Post by ZPOP17 » Sun Sep 09, 2018 4:06 pm

ey everyone! I'm pretty sure I have landed on Paleo for YCS Columbus. I had invoked for a while then took a break to transition to Altergeist. After months of testing, I just felt that paleo does the job better still since it recurs from grave after running out of resources in the main deck.

This is the build I have landed at for now, I really love scapegoat which means I have not been on the floodgate bandwagon. With that said, if it finally has to happen then I'm okay with that.

Monsters 11
3 Swap
3 Dupe
2 Ronin
3 Graydle Slime Jr

Spells 9
3 Demise
2 Called by the Grave
3 Scapegoat
1 Foolish Burial

Traps 20
3 Strike
3 Lost Wind
3 Torrential
3 Olenoides
3 Canadia
3 Reckless Greed
2 Super Team Buddy Force Unite (2 toad negates, incredible card)

Extra 15
3 Toad
3 Mistar
1 Borreload
1 Decode
1 Phoenix
1 Cerberus
1 Proxy
1 Underclock
2 Linkuriboh
1 Link Spider

Side 15
2 Sphere Mode
3 Evenly
3 Mind Crush
3 Twin Twisters (Need back row removal not susceptible to red Reboot)
2 Lancea
2 Chaos Trap Hole

Cards I have been considering cutting from the main:
1 torrential
3 canadia (Just so lack luster. Gouki can play through it and a good altergeist player just uses clara for meluseek.)
3 reckless (just hurts more in the long run unless you get multiples)
1 Lost Wind (worst thing in the draco matchup)

Cards I have been considering adding to the main/side:
2-3 Gozne
2-3 Rivalry
2-3 DD Crow
2 Storming Mirror Force
1 called by the grave
3 Red Reboot
2-3 Magic Deflector

Cards I will not add in any way.
Desires (Never had a success with it in any ratios)
Gameciel (Will always be equal with toad in atk because it's a water)
Dinomischus (Not in the demise bulid, it's too slow and just a minus nowadays. would rather run
things bottomless even over that)

I give all this backdrop just let you all know I have been messing around with this for a long time now. This is the deck I have had the most continuous and recent practice with. Any and all help welcome!

You could run dogoran instead because he’ll be 26 and toad’ll 27 if you need the monster removal that is
