Beta-testing opportunity

Post by Evilfaic » Mon May 23, 2016 8:01 pm

Not really, I just want to see if this works:

game

Just a little game I made in C#. Nothing crazy. Let me know if you find any bugs.

code, if you're interested

If you're REALLY interested, I could make a video explaining how the code works.

are you fluent in C#? because I could use some help with coding a game I'm trying to make.

Hard to say. What I've done so far is super basic, even this "game" I made is incredibly simple. If I was making a proper game I'd be using a framework or something that's meant for games with built-in classes like collision (Unity, Otter, etc).

I just wanted to see how far I could go making a game in a horribly inefficient environment for games (windows forms).

Another new version

-instead of a square shooting squares at a square, you are now a triangle shooting squares at a space cookie
-code is now less horrible and features more "useful" comments, see? (see line 233 for my favorite line of code I've ever written)

EDIT: Oh, that shortcut probably won't work. To launch the game go to BetterFormMovement > bin > Debug > BetterFormMovement.exe
EDIT AGAIN: Your virus protection might yell at you. Trust me, it's fine.
