Frog OTK

Post by fleeing_escapee » Tue Mar 31, 2009 8:52 am

Required cards: scapegoat, subsitoad, des croaking

Opponent turn: play scapegoat during end phase

Your turn:
1)Summon subsitoad
2)tribute 3 tokens for 3 des frogs
3)play des croaking
4)tribute last token and subsitoad for submarine frog / beelze frog.
5)all attack for OTK

Requires a limited card, but subsitoad can mill your deck very fast, and other cards can be used to replace scapegoat (though it uses more cards), like fires of doomsday, fiend santuary, or you can just use cards like inferno reckless summon to fill your field up.

Not the best OTK ever made but it is funny to do on people.

Best OTK is with batteryman, using 3 cards all not in the banlist. This utilize 3 cards, 1 of them limited(sadly). However subsitoad can mill the deck like crazy. Not to mention Machi Frog and Poison Draw Frog provide a source of drawpower.

Oh and, scapegoat best replacement is probably inferno reckless summon+ wetlands. Have a monster on your field at the start of your turn, summon subsitoad, tribute the monster for a frog less then 1500 attack, activate inferno reckless summon, tribute the 3 frogs for 3 des frogs, use des croaking, tribute subsitoad for submarine/beelze frog, activate wetlands, attack for OTK. 4 card combo.

Yes but it can easily be stopped.
A good OTK doesn't have many, if any counters. Like the Psychic OTK. It can only be stopped with Kuriboh and Blackwings. And that also only uses 3-4 cards.

every combo can be stopped... obviously a combo like mine can be stopped by solemn, PWWB, threatening roar, waboku, etcetc. Same goes for almost any OTK right?

Yes, but a good OTK has less chance of being countered. Hence why I said it isn't the best OTK, never the less I like it.

The best OTK was 'Last Turn', but it was banned unfortunately because it was tournament worthy & Konami/UDE don't like tournament OTK. Jowgen> Wall of Revealing Light> Last Turn.

Or do Substitoad + Witch Doctor of Sparta + Exoduis.

Much Easier

Frog decks don't run those cards.

There are several, but the one I am talking about needs
E-Tele
Krebons/Psychic Snail/Mind Protector
Overdrive Teleporter
Psychokinesis (optional)
Cold Wave

It requires you to go 1st.
1st turn:
Play Cold Wave
Play Krebons/Psychic Snail/ Mind Protector

2nd Turn:
Tribute monster for Overdrive Teleporter
Use Overdrive Teleporters effect and SS 2 Psychic Commanders.
Synchro Commander and Overdrive Teleporter for Hyper Psychic Blaster.
Play E-Tele, bring out Mind Master.
Use Mind Masters effect on the second Psychic Commander to bring out Psychic Snail.
Use Psychic Snails effect on Hyper Psychic Blaster.
Synchro Mind Master and Psychic Snail for any lv5 synchro.
Use Psychokinesis on the monster (if they have one).
Attack for game.

this is arguable, as e-tele is limited, and you do not have any real way to clear the opponent field (what if he summons a stardust? or thought ruler archfiend? maybe even have a mirror force/crush card virus face down). Of course, this is just an OTK that might be happen in a psychic deck, and the deck is more likely to win by other methods anyway

Thats what the Cold Waves are for.
E-Tele can be replaced with One for One.
This OTK isn't as strong as it was before, and you are correct, psychics win by other methods.
