Senet Switching

Post by MysticJhn » Tue Jul 07, 2009 9:37 am

As terrible and unsupported as this strategy is, I wanted to explore it for fun anyway.
The problem being, besides adding the 5 cards involved with it to my deck, I'm not really sure
what much to try with it.
It's so uneffective and relyant on your opponent having Spells and Traps in the matching zones that it's hard to enforce.

Anyone have any suggestions to work with it?
I mean besides throwing it out and picking up a real deck.

what are the 5 cards involved beacuse the only thing i can think of are the monsters, spells, and traps already involved with what zone their in that came out in the same pack as senet switch.

You're probably thinking of them all, then.
They all came out in Cyberdark Impact.

Senet Switch
Rampaging Rhynos
Storm Shooter
Alien Infiltrator
Blasting Fuse

Blasting fuse is the only useful one. You missed the continous trap where you roll a dice to determine which of your opponent monsters die btw. I think it is needle wall or something.

The ones I listed were the only ones Wikia listed as related to Senet Switching.

Needle Wall is definatly an interesting card I never heard of, and might be fun for when the opponent puts a monster in a different column to avoid the Senet effects.

But it doesn't truely fit in.
Only Alien Infiltrator benefits from an empty column.
And there's no way to move your opponent's monsters to adjacent zones.

That's the one thing I noticed was missing from this strategy, being able to shift your opponent's monsters.
Or at least slide your own Spells/Traps around for Blasting Fuse.

On a side note, I actually did build a Senet Deck and much to LewieGee's scorn, beat his Beast deck with it one duel. :D

Probably was, which is why I didn't wanna give you a Round 2.
lmao, that win might be the first and last victory against another player my
Senet Deck will actually see.
