Cyverse Monsters

Post by MysticJhn » Thu Feb 23, 2017 8:30 pm

In addition to Link Monsters, Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS is also giving us a new Type.
Cyverse!

They will debut in "Cybenet Universe", the first structure deck for the new series,
and in "Code of the Duelist", the first booster pack for the new series.

Most of the Cybers/Cyverse types just look like... machines?

Yeah, they seem like a mix any non-Psychic or non-Machine Type mixed with Psychic/Machines.
I guess they are supposed to represent digital monsters, but they just seem like Konami forcing
a Type where there wasn't a need for one.

I mean, Cyverse Wizard here looks as human as the main character.
There's no reason he couldn't have been a Spellcaster.

Bittron looks as machine as it gets, even having those kind of didgital eyes you'd see on robot pet toys.

Draconet is the closest thing to a unique Type in the short list of known Cyverse monsters.
Even that, though, I wouldn't question it being called a Dragon or Winged-Beast.
