Huntik TCG

Post by EvilGod10 » Sat Jun 20, 2009 7:50 am

I was wondering, has anyone played this game? I played it for the first time today and I am hooked on it, I am thinking of selling my yugioh collection and start playing. If it picks up in australia I will do it for sure. So, I just wanted to know what you all thought of it if you have played it.

P.S. I am posting this here because I know I will forget about it in the Off Topic Section (sorry mystic).

Played it a few times, seems ok...
Fancy a duel? MSN or PM me, but I'm afraid I don't use YVD.

Want REAL deck advice? You know my PM address...

NEVER sell off your current TCG when a new one comes out... despite YGO & Magic's success they have a high tendancy to fail. I remember buying several boxes of VS (the Marvel/DC TCG), it did well for the first couple of months & then dissapeared.

I also know several people who sold all their YGO & started playing UFS (Universal Fighting System). They're top in the country... although only 20 people showed up for the last National event.

See how the game goes, spend moderately and if the third tournament has MORE players than the first you're probably onto a good thing.

Well my first tournament was the second set Sneak Peak and we had about 20 people turn up so I am not sure if that is even possible, but I see your point. The thing is, yugioh irl isn't fun anymore. I don't have enough money to make a good deck (I have my own deck, I posted it on pojo, it got net decked for aussie nats at T16) so I am really tossing up whether I still want to play yugioh or not.
Regardless I am still going to be playing online (mainly DMU), just not IRL.

Noticed Huntik tournaments playing at my local hobby shop here in Australia. So I deciding to go and watch next tournament just see how game is before make leaps at playing it myself.
You can't beat me for I just come back......
