Okay, I gotta admit it was far better than I thought it would be when I started to watch it.
I might see this just for lego Batman

Lego Batman looks like he steals the show a bit.
Not a bad thing.

I also love Liam Neeson playing the cop role and Morgan Freeman playing the god looking figure.
That's just bonus points for the outside references.

This is the kind of movie, though, you just want to get on Blu-Ray and keep pausing
to check out all the different minifigures and sets you can recognize.

You know there's going to be all these obscure references everywhere.
The one clip has a figure with a missing head and a cat from those odd girly sets.
That blue guy I think is from the original space sets.
Robin Hood.
Incredible Crash Dummies.
Someone threw a shark.
The Green Ninja from Ninjago.

Can't wait to see what else is in there.

I think Morgan Freeman is exploiting his immortal side as Jebus (black Jesus). Just a hunch.
I fear the day when American feminism will become less "equalism" and more female supremacy, a male president will lie to further male hatred, and society will pay much more attention to female issues than that of males. That day is today.

It's about that main Lego guy who's just a generic Lego guy suddenly thrown
into a "the one" situation where he's stopping that robot invasion led by Will Ferrel's character.

Im a huge lego fan(maybe too big a fan),butthe movie seems good I'll probably buy it.but almost anything lego related is usally aimed to a verry young audience,so I sometimes dont really keep up with it :(,but I still read my younger brothers magazines XD

It does look amusing, but I wish every movie that comes out now didn't have to include a love interest.

Now?
Since when didn't movies include love interests?
Love interests drive plots.

Nah I dont like the romance either.my brother watches it and hes too young to really get it.again its really for a young audience.i guess the romane plots are a sad attempt to keep the intrest of the older veiwers.

In stories specifically created in that way yes. But now there are many movies where they take already set stories and twist characters into a romance that never happened in the original. I think my favorite example is the second Silent Hill movie. Even taking into consideration most movies based off of games are bad (though I enjoyed the first) they took one of the characters, Vincent Smith, a mid to late twenties high ranking Order member and completely re wrote him. They turned him into a seventeen year old pretty boy who was just your ordinary member of the Order.

He was actually a fascinating character, giving your fairly important information about the Order and the various workings of the Other World, and they just turned him into something that wanted to get in Heather's pants after about 10 minutes into the movie.

Making video games out of movies is stupid if you ask me. Most of them are terrible.

Then again, Lego games tend to be good.
They did excellent with the Marvel and DC franchises.
Did pretty good with the Star Wars games that started all this branded Lego stuff.
I can imagine they'd do pretty good with a movie based on their own products.

Yeah, most videogame movies are terrible, but this movie is practically built to be a game.
lol, built...
