If I am honest, I do want this to start up again however, the whole idea about typing constraints chosen by the clans is flawed so I would like a new idea to separate the clans ^^

Also I don't see any problems with us running the clans like Dnet does it.

Clans are dead. They barely got started and collapsed just like the Revolution. People are to busy in life, deal with it.

It would actually be quite easy to restart the whole thing, considering we have most of the rules figured out and I did some checks, people are interested to see what can be made if this gets brought back.

I would be fine with rewriting a lot of the rules from scratch. I dunno what to do, though. Should I open up discussion to everyone, or should I just rewrite everything by myself?

also we should keep in mind not to get hot headed over a card game. Lets have fun and just try redoing it. No everyone is open to opinions and can suggest anything. Don't be afraid to speak up and we can just vote on it. If people get butt hurt over things its on them. If we do it this way we can then decide on what we need to do and what the majority of participants are wanting.

There are so many decks that are meta its unreal.
So many ways we can do this its unreal.
If done the proper ways I would gladly be one of the clan leaders.

Doom I enjoy playing you but you don't have to be so harsh. I wasn't going to address this to avoid problems. But i enjoy playing better players then me because it makes me think if I can beat these guys then I am getting better. One of my greatest long time rivals on this site was Can. He was a good player though. So dueling him and having fun learning combo i may have overlooked and such was always fun. I enjoy playing against you. You are a good friend and a good duelist. its just to think this deck is just as much luck as it is skill. Its like Pot of Greed. If you have it opening hand and your opponent doesn't then you get an early 2 card advantage. Why the card is banned. So I hope to see you still participate and continue to grow better at the game. in all honesty I see shad doll's biggest threat being heroes. Both decks can play Super poly and have discard engines for the deck to search out stuff. Can't wait and hope to see this back up and running.

Zan Zan you have a good thing going and if you want my help and support you got it from me.

A bit surprised with some of the support I wasn't quite expecting to happen yet, but Arkain is right, there's a million ways to do this.
Suppose we do this by archetypes?

Or just by anything. If a clan wants to only run monsters that a red or something, let them. If a clan wants to run a single type/attribute, let them. If a clan wants an archetype, go for it. There are many ways to do this.

This format is great for clan wars. We have such a diverse meta right now that we really don't need restraints. We just have to remember that this whole thing is for fun.
