Hearthstone is a nice balance between being able to splash the cash but you can also realistically grind it out, not sure people would be happy with it though

Well, y'all seem to care more about playing online for free than playing in the real world.
A Hearthstone model allows that to happen, but still allows players with money to spend their money.
It gives everyone on the internet something to Yugi-tube. Look how many gaming channels have Hearthstone videos.
Just the fact that it's free would actually invite more people to play Yu-Gi-Oh than before.
Once you make a PC version, it would be very simple to port to consoles which do online play as well.
Also, Hearthstone is available on mobile devices, which Yu-Gi-Oh really fails at.
You also wouldn't have to worry about OCG or TCG only cards and banlists, it would all be simultaneous and shared.
Konami would save money on printing physical cards, tins, and other things related to the physical game.
Konami is also an electronic and digital gaming based company, so this should be in their wheelhouse.
Hearthstone does custom card backs you can earn or buy with cash as well, so you'd still have custom card backs.
If they wanted to, they could even install a trading system, and I don't even think Hearthstone has that.
Really, if you want to salvage Yu-Gi-Oh, rebalance it, and revive it, going a Hearthstone route and eliminating the physical game
might just be the best thing ever.
Thinking about it as I write this post, if someone handed me Yu-Gi-Oh right now, I'd end the physical game right now to go this route.

Well, with what I laid out above, you could use the mobile version of Yu-Gi-Oh
to wirelessly connect with someone next to you and duel.
Then again, you could probably do it without having to be near them.

So... how many seconds after Dueling Book is up and running with an actual game will NAS shut it down?

Who thought it was a good idea to try again at this point in time?
There is no way NAS or Konami lets it slide any time before the launch of the official Yu-Gi-Oh online game.

Eh... I would if I had the time, and as u know I rarely even pop on here. Plus I havent played in ages. I could probably get back into it really easily and all but idk yugioh is really dying. If they made it fun and cool and unique and diverse, I'd be really excited. The meta thing gets boring after a while.
