Card Name: Skylight Phoenix/Assault
Card Type: Monster/Effect
Attribute: Light
Type: Winged-Beast
Level: 10
ATK/DEF: 3100/2900
Card Text: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with its own effect or "Assault Mode Activate". When this card is removed from the field, send 4 cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard and Special Summon it during the next Phase.

Means that after dropping 4 cards, I can SS it from the deck, hand, graveyard or RFG.
True, but that still only rules out 1 of 4 methods I suggested you could use to deal with it.

There, fixed.

That kinda belies the point of summoning the Assault Mode to begin with.

The effect you have now is broken. Not all Busters have to be super great. Look at that fail psychic Poop. I am not even going to say its name it's that bad.

It doesn't have to be great, but I would like for them to be worth playing, else why make them in the first place?

The Skylight Buster isn't THAT much better than the normal Skylight (just a bit more absolute), and it's arguably not even as good as Stardust Buster.

Good idea... maybe double (8 mills) to make it more decisive?

On 2nd thoughts... I think the original mill is fine. Since you need AMA, and he 's not like Gorz to save you against a flood field.

I actually think 8 mills will be better so the match doesn't drag on for too long.

How about 6? 8 can kill you pretty badly.

I was thinking the same. 6 will be good.

That said, 8 is not necessarily bad, such as in the case of LS (although I'm doubtful that an LS-buster deck would work well).

8 is to much even for LS.

If you mill 8 cards with Skylight Buster on the field with LS, you have a very good chance of finishing the game next turn.
